Castile soap is a highly effective and versatile cleaner made from vegetable oils. It originated in the Castile region of Spain and was sold as early as the 16th century. Infinitely useful in the kitchen and bathroom, Castile soap is always a handy tool to have around. Everything from cleaning your makeup brushes to keeping pests off plants to an all-in-one camp soap, Castile soap does it all.
Ingredients: Organic Saponified Oils of Sunflower and Coconut; Water; Organic Vegetable Glycerin; Rosemary Extract.
Directions: To make hand or body wash: Pour one part soap and three parts water into a pump or foaming dispenser, although it's also safe to use full strength. Safe for babies too! With proper washing, this soap works well on most viruses. Because the soap dissolves a virus’s fat membrane, it works better than disinfectants, wipes and gels containing alcohol. To wash fruits and veggies: Add a squirt to a sink full of water and rinse. Make all-purpose spray or all-purpose scour. To make diaper wipe solution: add a few drops to a squirt bottle of water. To wash floors: add a squirt to a bucket full of water. To wash the car: add a squirt to a bucket of water.
