- Can I bring my own bottle?
Yes! You are welcome to bring bottles you already have. It is recommended to clean bottles thoroughly before refilling. In the case of a glass container that previously held a food product we recommend sterilizing it with diluted bleach.
- How are things priced?
All of our liquids and powders available for refilling are sold by the liquid ounce. The price per ounce ranges from 0.10 - 3.00 and includes the cost of custom-scenting for all scent-able products.
- Which products cannot be custom-scented?
- Due to the nature of these products scenting is not recommended - Rosewater Toner, Aftershave, Glass Cleaner, All-Purpose Cleaner, Celestial Splash, Honey Wash, Starlight Wash, Essential Earth and Stellar Lotion.
- Are the liquids made in the USA?
- All the liquids we carry are made here in the U.S.
- Are any of your products tested on animals?
- The only product we have that has been tested on animals is the dog shampoo. And they love it!
- Are your products Vegan?
- All of our products are Vegan except for the Honey Wash.
- Is The Refill Shoppe a chain or franchise?
- The Refill Shoppe in Ventura is the one and only. As we continue to grow we will be searching for just the right city to expand to in an effort to create a chain. Think your hometown is that place? Please let us know why!

- Are your products 100% natural?
Our face care line is 100% natural and organic. The other products we carry declare the percentage of organic content they have in the title. Many are over 80% organic, please see the ingredient tabs for specific product information.
- What are your hours?
- We are open Monday thru Saturday 10am - 6pm.
- Will you have extended holiday hours?
- Yes! We will be extending our hours from Dec. 14th - 24th to 10am - 8pm including Sunday!
